Observe micro meter with a general-purpose lens

High-resolution, high-magnification microscope costs more than 1 million yen.

This time, we compared micrometers can be observed using a general-purpose lens microscope.

We observed using a glass scale and transmitted illumination to check the resolution.
Three 2μm wide black lines are drawn at the red arrow points.

1. Observed with our high magnification lens (FZ series)
■Observed using the highest magnification (approximately 250x) of our high magnification lens (FZ series)

■Added 2x auxiliary lens to our high magnification lens (FZ series) (approximately 500x)

▼Digital zoom of the blue frame part

2. Observed with our high magnification 4K lens
■Observe at the highest magnification of our high-magnification 4K lens (approximately 250x)

■Added a 2x auxiliary lens to our 4K lens (approximately 500x)

▼Digital zoom of the blue frame part

3.Observed with our ultra-high magnification lens (NSH series)
■The highest magnification of our ultra-high magnification lens (NSH series) (approximately 1400x)

*General-purpose lenses with a magnification of over 1000x will have a greater effect on aberrations, resulting in poor focus.

When observed at around 500x with this NSH lens, it looks like the following.

4. Comparing three lenses at 500x

FZ lens + 2x auxiliary lens

4K lens + 2x auxiliary lens
